Tax ManagerAn excellent CPA firm is adding a Tax Manager to their team. This stable and growing firm offers clients valuable knowledge and expertise in tax. Due to the recent growth of the firm, there is an opportunity for a Tax Manager to join a team of highly motivated staff.Tax Manager Responsibilities:Perform tax returns for individuals, S-Corporations, C-Corporations, partnerships, trusts, and nonprofit organizationsPerform technical tax review of tax returns of staff accountantsIndependently research tax issuesFollow tax compliance laws and discuss with clients as neededOversee a team of highly motivated staff / train staffProvide tax compliance and consulting to a diverse base of clientsReview tax returns prepared by staffQualifications Include:CPA license requiredBachelor's Degree in AccountingAt least five years of experience in Public AccountingCustomer-centric with excellent relationship and adaptability skillsDetailed, well-organized, with strong communication skillsExhibits a strong team-player attitude in helping co-workers succeedResults-oriented with a high level of integrity and dependabilityStrong problem-solving skills with the ability to exercise sound judgment while making decisions based on accurate and timely analysisMust have the ability to utilize firm technology to enhance client serviceHigh stress tolerance -- thrives in a high-pressure environmentAbility to conform to shifting priorities, strong problem solving & prioritization skillsThe position requires related experience working in external relationship management Strong organizational skills, attention to detail and flexibility Strong written and verbal communication skills Ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams in a fast-paced environment Self-driven individual, ability to work with minimal direction
